This is a segmented map of the state of Ohio displaying Ohio's Special Education Regional Resource Centers (SERRC) regions and corresponding counties. The SERRC regions are labeled, segmented, and burst apart. The SERRC offers technical support to those applying for assistive technology funding through ATIP. This map provides a visual of the each SERRC region and the corresponding Ohio counties.
Detailed Description:
The figure shows an outline of the state of Ohio with each county within Ohio outlined and labeled with the appropriate county name. Each SERRC region is displayed by a bolder outline around the region border. In addition each region is separated from the others to bring focus to each.
On the top left hand corner of the State of Ohio figure is a region titled "Northwest Ohio SERRC". The border around this region is bolded and the region as a whole is colored tan. The counties in this region are from top to bottom, left to right "Williams, Defiance, Paulding, Van Wert, Fulton, Henry, Putnam, Lucas, Wood, Hancock, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Seneca". Below this is a region titled "West Central Ohio SERRC". The region as a whole is colored blue. The counties in this region from top to bottom, left to right are "Mercer, Allen, Auglaize, Shelby, Hardin, Logan, and Champaign".
Below this region is a region by the name of "Miami Valley SERRC". The region as a whole is colored red. The counties in this region from top to bottom, left to right are "Darke, Preble, Miami, Montgomery, Clark, and Greene".
Below this region is the last region on the left hand side of the figure. This would be the region titled "Southwester Ohio SERRC". The region as a whole is colored gold. The counties in this region from top to bottom, left to right are "Butler, Hamilton, Warren, and Clermont".
Beginning again at the top of the figure of the State of Ohio and to the right of the "Northwest Ohio SERRC" region is the region called "Northern Ohio SERRC". This region is colored light blue and the counties from top to bottom, left to right are "Erie, Huron, and Lorain".
Below this is the region known as "North Central Ohio SERRC" and is colored orange. The counties here are from top to bottom, left to right "Wyandot, Marion, Crawford, Morrow, Richland, Knox, and Ashland".
Below is "Central Ohio SERRC". This region is colored pink and the counties from top to bottom, left to right are "Union, Madison, Delaware, Franklin, Pickaway, Licking, and Fairfield".
Directly below this region are two smaller regions side by side. These are the bottom-most regions of the figure. The one of the left is titled "Hopewell SERRC" and is colored blue. The counties here are from top to bottom, left to right "Clinton, Brown, Fayette, Highland, and Adams".
The region to the right of this is called "Pilasco-Ross SERRC" and is colored purple. The counties here from top to bottom are "Ross, Pike, Scioto, and Lawrence".
Starting again at the top of the figure of Ohio but to the right of the "Northern Ohio SERRC" is "Cuyahoga SERRC". This consists of only one county by the name of "Cuyahoga" and is colored dark pink.
To the right of this is "East Shore SERRC" and has the counties, from top to bottom "Lake and Geauga". This region is colored light grey.
Below "Cuyahoga SERRC" and "East Shore SERRC" is the region "Mid-Eastern Ohio SERRC". This region is colored teal and consists of the counties, from left to right "Medina, Summit, and Portage".
To the right of the regions "East Shore SERCC" and "Mid-Eastern Ohio SERRC" is the region "Northeastern Ohio SERRC". This region is colored green and consists of, from top to bottom "Ashtabula, Trumbull, and Mahoning".
Below the regions "Mid-Eastern Ohio SERRC" and "Northeast Ohio SERRC" is the region "Lincoln Way SERRC". This region is colored yellow and has counties, from left to right "Wayne, Stark, and Columbiana".
Below this region is "East Central Ohio SERRC", which is shaded light blue. The counties here from top to bottom, left to right are "Holmes, Coshocton, Muskingum, Tuscarawas, Guernsey, Noble, Carroll, Harrison, Belmont, and Jefferson".
Below this is the final region named "Southeastern Ohio SERRC". This is shaded light grey and consists of counties, from top to bottom, left to right "Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Perry, Athens, Meigs, Gallia, Morgan, Washington, and Monroe".
