Purpose
Are you struggling to demonstrate and communicate
the outcomes associated with assistive technology use? This town hall meeting
is designed
to engage participants with researchers from the ATOMS Project as we share
the latest research on assistive technology outcomes.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone interested in measuring the
outcomes of assistive technology, including: assistive technology specialists,
augmentative
communication
specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech & language
pathologists, recreation therapists, counselors, teachers, rehabilitation
engineers, researchers, and administrators.
- Obtain an overview of the work of two federally funded AT outcome projects
- Engage in dialogue and problem solving about measuring AT outcomes
- Receive extensive resource materials about measuring outcomes of AT
- Critique emerging theoretical models
- Collect resources for facilitating AT outcome study groups
- Learn how you can partner with the ATOMS Project
