Photo Detail - MIH Image Gallery

The bottom of the photograph shows the back of the heads of several people who make up the audience for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. They are all sitting in black folding chairs. Starting on the right bottom side, there is an older gentleman with blonde hair and a red jacket, holding a camera to his face. There is a cement walk-way between the man and the next set of audience members. The cement walkway leads up to the back door where the project leaders are standing on the porch, behind the ribbon. The grass on the lawn is green and the sun is clearly shining on it. The lawn ends where the cement that makes up the porch area begins. There is also a row of rocks on the right side before the porch and a small dirt garden with a bush planted on the left side of the photograph, next to the house. The two-story model house is tan. Windows are on both the first and second floor. The small porch with a roof is in front of the back door to the house.

Below the porch roof, ten people are standing in a row within the porch area and behind the wooden beams that hold up the roof. The people are all looking down at a blue ribbon that has been strung from the first wooden pole to the second and then towards the right side leading off of the photograph. Eight of the men in the photograph are wearing black suits and one man is holding a scissors in the middle between the two poles, nearly ready to cut the ribbon. Another man is wearing a grayish suit and the one and only woman is wearing a pink suit and skirt, which are all in line in the front of the house. The people are all very professional looking, and smiling, appearing to be very excited about cutting the ribbon and marking the completion of the project. A blue and white "Independence First" sign is attached to the ribbon on the right side of the photograph, just in front of the last man standing in the line on the right side. The sign symbolizes who the owners of the project are, and includes their company's name and logo. The area around the house has been landscaped and the project has been fully completed.
