Across, the entire photograph a wooden railing of the stairway on the top of the stairs is partially blocking the view below. The photographer is standing on the top stair and facing the camera downwards to capture the living room area of the model home. Part of the railing from the first floor section of the staircase is also visible. The railings are a light wooden color and are bordered with metal rods along the sides of the wooden pieces and metal rods holding the railing up perpendicularly. Part of the gray ground on the second floor is also visible between the railings, on the very right side of the photograph.
The view of the living room reveals four people within the room. Directly in the center of the photograph and mostly covered by the railing a lady with brown hair, a skirt on and high-heels is standing and holding a handbag. She is facing to the right side, in the photograph. The floor she is standing on is not carpeted and is dark gray in color. Behind her and on the left side of the photograph, a dark-skinned woman with black hair and a white t-shirt on is sitting on a couch that is against the interior back wall. She appears to be listening to someone, perhaps a tour guide who is not shown in the photograph. The couch is blue and two decorative pillows are on the right side, under the woman's outstretched arm. The couch is directly up against the back wall that is tan in color. On the right side of the couch a standing lamp is located and a clear window is on the wall next to that. In front of the lamp a matching blue recliner is facing the stairway. A woman with a cane is sitting in the chair and leaning slightly to the left in the photograph. She also has her head turned slightly down and appears to be listening to the tour guide.
A light brown wooden kitchen table with four matching chairs surrounding it is located directly behind her and towards the top of the photograph. A dark-skinned man is sitting in the chair that is directly behind the woman in the recliner. He is sitting on the side of the chair and facing the same direction the other three people are facing. He has black hair, a striped short-sleeved dress shirt and a gold watch on one of his wrists. Both of his hands are folded in his lap. The kitchen table behind him is covered in a tan colored table cloth and several items are set upon it. Starting on the left side of the photograph on the table, there is a white sheet of paper near the end. Next to that is a black camera bag with the strap hanging down in a semi-circle on the table. Next to those items, but on the other end of the table is a flowered gift bag, an umbrella, and several more sheets of paper. The wall behind the kitchen table is also tan and there is another standing lamp that is turned on in the corner. Next to the lamp on the wall is a clear glass window. In front of the wooden kitchen chair on the left side of the photograph a blue backpack is sitting on the floor. On the right side of the table in the photograph, a small metal cart with wheels and two shelves is against the wall. Sitting on top of the first metal-barred shelf are two white square buckets. A single tan bowl has been placed on the lower shelf.
