SHARP Image Gallery - Photo Detail

The large, white, low-vision phone is centered in the photograph. It has rounded, gray square buttons with large white numbers clearly visible on each one. Smaller blue buttons with white labeling are located above and below the keypad. A large, monochrome LCD display is visible above the top row of blue buttons. Large, pixelized text can be seen on the display. Directional up and down arrows are located to the right of the LCD display. Two other small white buttons are located to the left of the display. The phone has a coiled white cord that attaches the handset to the phone base. A cord leading to the wall jack attaches to the phone base and dangles off the table. The base for a conventional cordless phone as well as a standard Ameritech Caller ID unit are located on the table behind the low-vision phone. Next to the Caller ID unit are some scraps of paper and a miniature spiral notebook. The notebook has been left open and contains handwriting on the facing page. Below the papers, on the tabletop, is a large Pick n' Save advertisement displaying various sales on food items. The advertisement is very colorful and vibrant, standing out from the rest of the photograph. The table itself is a dark wood veneer and is up against a wood-paneled wall with a heating grate visible near the floor, next to the table.
